Hey everyone,
My name is Jim Schoen and I’ve been involved with the credit industry now for roughly 11 years. My first “real” job consisted of taking hundreds of applications for credit and then calling those applications in to lenders. I was amazed at how many good people had rough credit scores. It amazed me that people who paid their bills on time could still have poor credit scores.
I’ve held several positions over the last 11 years in the finance industry but the last four years have been spent as a district manager for a local loan company. I’ve always loved computers and especially enjoy building websites for various interests of mine. There is so much misinformation on the wire today about how to improve your credit rating I finally decided I would do my part in setting the record straight.
I do want to let you know however, that while this is not anywhere near my main source of income I may be compensated for products you buy as a result of links you click on my site. While this is not my main motivation for the site it does help to cover the various costs such as hosting and registration fees. I want to be honest with you on that but not to worry because I would never recommend a product to improve your credit rating if I didn’t believe in it!
